How to install the driving recorder correctly?

The driving recorder was originally used to record road conditions, but under some special circumstances, it has become a recording tool to protect its legitimate rights and interests.

1. Installation location

For the installation of the driving recorder, the general product description will be detailed, and the installation requirements are basically the same. If space permits, choose a position behind the rearview mirror, in the middle of the vehicle, and the recorded angle will be more accurate. Do not place too far down, otherwise it will easily block the driver’s sight. If the space is limited, you can fine-tune to the left and right, but the position should not be too off, otherwise the shooting angle will not be accurate.

2. Each installation method has its advantages and disadvantages

Generally speaking, there are two ways to install the driving recorder: paste and sucker, both of which have obvious advantages and disadvantages. The pasting method is strong, but once it is pasted, it can no longer move freely. If it needs to be used in different vehicles, it is not very convenient. The suction cup is relatively more flexible than pasting, and it is easy to install and disassemble, but in summer and winter, the low temperature and high temperature suction cup has the risk of falling off, and the firmness of the suction cup is slightly worse than that of pasting.

3. Routing

The driving recorder is a device added later, so starting from the lighter line is more of a hindrance. Many people try to save trouble. For easy installation and easy disassembly, they are accustomed to directly sag the line on the center console, but the wiring harness is easy to wrap around the handle, etc. Get in the way, so you can consider combing the thread and clamping it in the glove box. If the driving recorder is not often disassembled, you can also route the wire from the interior trim panel, bury the wire in the interior, and finally plug it into the cigarette lighter. But this will inevitably damage the internal panel, which may not be acceptable to some perfectionists.
